I read your journal after writing the comment. I thinks its really cool how you went out and met all those people...particularly the story about the homeless guy. It was really touching. Theres not enough of that anymore, everyones so afraid of what might happen if they actually approached someone on the street and started up a conversation... In some ways I don't blame them, we're often so hostile towards that sort of thing these days, at the same time.. there are so many interesting stories we're missing out on. I don't know how it is where you are, but in Australia alot of really skilled bright immigrants end up being taxi drivers. They all have such fascinating stories.
