Every single day this old guy sits in the city and plays the same songs, but nobody really notice him or his skills. Just a few ppl gave him money, but i'm sure he would appreciate if someone just stand there and listen to his music.
I really like this shot, here's why: The whole scene just seems perfect, you could not have captured it at a better moment.
There's the business man in perfect form walking his everyday route and his positioning and expression fits perfectly.
it seems as though everyone in the picture is ignoring him, but then there's the girl who glances over as she's walking, as if she's hesitating or something.
And I don't know how to describe the old guy's expression, he seems kinda grumpy and miserable, but also a hint optimistic. I could stare at it all day trying to figure out what was on his mind then, trying to guess his past or secrets no one else cared about, maybe he lost a loved one? who knows.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, I'd say this picture's worth 1,048 words
sehr schönes Foto mit tollem Schnitt. Und die Geschichte ist wohl typisch für eine Menge solcher Szenen. Das Schild im Geigenkasten macht es sehr anrührend und ist ein schönes Detail.
